Problem Statement

The client wanted to gain better insights from their customer data. setup a comprehensive data warehousing platform to enable publishing standard KPI’s on​ Dashboards and perform Analytics. Existing reports were built on top of an ODS and did not cover all the data requirements. Daily KPI’s monitoring and preparation of statutory reports were time consuming and many times inaccurate. Bank then decided to implement a comprehensive Data warehouse for their reporting and analytical needs​

Solution

The solution used IBM IIAS with data from 17+ applications via IBM InfoSphere, and CDC for Core Banking integration. Around 12 Data Marts and 76 Dashboards were created using Cognos for reporting and predictive analytics. Data Dictionary and lineage features were added to improve transparency and trust in analytics.
